Nurturing the bond between pets and their people

We pride ourselves on being 'your other family doctor'. Service, Quality and Integrity is our promise to you.

Our caring, friendly, and well trained staff are eager to help, whatever the health problem.

            Mitcham Pet Hospital

At Mitcham Pet Hospital, our dedicated staff of pet lovers are ready to offer you and your pet the best pet care possible with the aid of modern technology, equipment, and facilities. Whatever concern you have with your pet, be it an emergency, skin problems, ear problems, eye problems, lameness, lethargy, weight loss, weight gain, excessive drinking, gastrointestinal upsets, bad breath, problem behaviour, or just not well, we can help. Our care begins with a full health checkup and examination. Preventative care is a priority.

We perform a wide range of surgical procedures, desexings, blood and urine testing, ultrasound, digital radiography, endoscopy, and dentistry. We see mainly dogs and cats, but also rabbits, birds, guinea pigs, rats, mice, and the occassional reptile.

Introducing Dr. Man Yi Leong!

We're very pleased to announce that a new vet has joined the Mitcham Pet Hospital team. As well as being very good with dogs and cats, Dr. Leong has an interest in more exotic pets such as rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, rodents and reptiles. She is a good fit with our practice philosophy and has received great reviews from clients. We're sure you'll agree once you meet her.

Senior Screening Program

Mitcham Pet Hospital is part of Hill's Senior Screening Programme. Running from  2nd April until 30th June 2013, the programme focuses on ensuring owners understand the changing needs of their mature pets. The term 'senior' covers our pets from 7 years (5 years for large dogs) onwards.

For more information on the programme and tips for your senior pet, visit www.hillspet.com.au/seniors

Hill's is also offering Senior health check vouchers ($20 off a health check, and $15 off a Hill's senior product) which are redeemable at our clinic
